Terms of Service

These are the terms for using BookSnappa, a WhatsApp/Telegram bookkeeping bot for small businesses in Jamaica. By replying "AGREE" you accept them.

What BookSnappa does

You send photos of receipts, invoices, or petty cash vouchers, or upload POS export files. BookSnappa reads them, logs the details, and gives you a reconciliation report on request. It is a record-keeping and organizing tool.

Not tax or accounting advice

BookSnappa is not a chartered accountant, registered tax agent, or licensed tax preparer, and does not file GCT, income tax, or any other statutory return on your behalf. Extraction is automated and will occasionally misread an amount, date, or vendor. You are responsible for reviewing your reports and verifying figures before relying on them for filing, payroll, or any financial decision.

Your data

• We store the photos/files you send and the details extracted from them, tied to your WhatsApp or Telegram account.
• Your data is used only to generate your reports — we don't sell it or share it with other businesses.
• Message us any time to request a copy of your data or to have it deleted.

Plans and billing

• Each tier includes a set number of uploads per calendar month (one photo or one file = one upload, regardless of how many line items it contains). Your count resets on the 1st.
• If you reach your monthly limit, nothing already logged is lost — you'll be offered a plan upgrade to keep going that month.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. To cancel or change plans, message us directly — we'll action it before your next billing date.
• Refunds are handled case by case — message us if something's wrong with a charge.

Availability and liability

BookSnappa is provided as-is, without an uptime guarantee. We're not liable for losses arising from misread extractions, service downtime, or decisions made without independently verifying a report. Our total liability in any case is capped at the fees you paid in the preceding month.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
